Hope you ALL are having the most fabulous of days! I had the pleasure of photographing sweet baby Aberdeen when she was just 5 days new. She did so wonderfully during her first big photoshoot! Her mommy and daddy are absolutely smitten with her, and to be honest, so am I! I always bond with the newborn babies I photograph and it’s so fun to watch them grow throughout the years.
Just a few days prior to Aberdeen’s photoshoot, I purchased this super amazing photo prop. It’s an old fruit crate and it’s fabulous. It has a very vintage feel and I wasn’t sure if Aberdeen’s parents would like it or not. But once Jennifer saw it, she absolutely LOVED it! It’s totally her style and I guess it was Aberdeen’s as well. Aberdeen did all kinds of tricks for me in the crate and was as comfy as a bug in a rug. I even pulled off an amazing photo where her chin is resting in her little hands. It was perfection!!!
Remember, taking newborn photos such as the ones you see below, are best achieved when the baby is under two weeks old. The younger the better. That’s the time in their lives when they are still so new to our world and all they want to do is snuggle and sleep. Perfect recipe for super fun and creative newborn shots!
Thank you for stopping by and please enjoy my favorites from Aberdeen’s Newborn Session.
