California at Sunset

Mar 28, 2011   //   by milanaphotography   //   Just For Fun  //  No Comments

Hello Fans,

Thought it was maybe time for just a fun little blog.  I recently took a trip out to California with my family and had such a wonderful time.  Of course, I couldn’t leave my camera behind and thought I would share a few of my favorite photos.

These photos below were taken at Venice Beach a few minutes before sunset and then also right at sunset.  The beauty there is just indescribable!  The ocean, the mountains, the palm trees, the sand, the sunset…ahhh! What’s not to love?? The photos don’t really do it justice, but I tried my very best.

Hope you enjoy the photos :)

Snow Fun in Atlanta

Jan 18, 2011   //   by milanaphotography   //   Just For Fun  //  No Comments

Hello Fans!

Atlanta was snowed in once again this year! And by snowed in, I mean everyone was stranded in their homes for days and days!  With so much snow and ice, the roads were way too dangerous for traveling.  I don’t remember when the last time we had weather like this, it was pretty crazy.

But on the bright side, I hope everyone had an opportunity to rest, enjoyed spending time with their loved ones and had a chance to play outside…because I sure did!  My family & I went tubing down the hill in our backyard, built a snowman, drank lots of hot chocolate and ate way more than we should have. We had a blast! hehe

Check out a few of our fun pics below!  Hope you all took lots of awesome pictures too, it was way too much fun not to have the camera rolling. Stay warm out there!

A Valentine Blizzard in Atlanta, GA!

Feb 15, 2010   //   by milanaphotography   //   Just For Fun  //  No Comments

Hello Fans,

It’s February and we expect snow, right? Well, if you live in Atlanta, GA…then the answer is NO.  It’s not very often that we get snow in Atlanta, especially 4-6 inches of it! When the Weather channel announced that we have a huge storm coming through, I’m sure there were a lot of skeptics out there. But not me, I crossed my fingers and prayed for snow!

I’m originally from Russia and ever since I moved to Atlanta, I have seen snow only a handful of times.  So when it actually started snowing, I was like a kid in a candy store! Or a kid on Christmas morning! Well, you get the idea…I was basically a big KID. I ran outside, put my head back, stuck my tongue out and twirled around in circles! It was awesome!

And the best part…it snowed for almost an entire day!  My sister in-law was visiting with her boyfriend and were stranded at our house.  So I begged everyone to come outside and we built the biggest snow-man! He was at least 6′ tall! It was everyone’s 1st time, but my millionth time…and they were quite impressed with my skills, hehe.

Enjoy a few snapshots of the beautiful Valentine’s Day weekend in Atlanta!

Much Love,

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Nov 3, 2009   //   by milanaphotography   //   Just For Fun  //  No Comments

Hello Fans!

Hope everyone had a very nice and enjoyable Halloween! I had a great one! Every year all of my friends and I get together and throw a really awesome Halloween Party. The only catch is…costumes are a MUST! It’s just no fun without them :)

I also got a chance to finally carve a pumpkin and bake my very first pumpkin pie! It wasn’t all too bad, I think I definitely need to use less eggs next time. I followed the recipe to the tee, but still, I think my pie almost tasted like flan! Haha.

I usually don’t do very many personal blogs, but I thought this time I would let you take a peek inside my world…my daughter :) I did a small photoshoot of her in her Winnie the Pooh costume in my front yard. She looked sooo cute!

Enjoy the pics :)

Much Love,

Snow Storm in March

Mar 6, 2009   //   by milanaphotography   //   Just For Fun  //  No Comments

Yes, that’s right. A snowstorm in March! Just as it happened in March of 1993, we got hit by a snowstorm less than a week ago.

Atlanta is known for very unpredictable weather. It snowed on Sunday and the temperature was in the low 20s, today is only Friday and it’s about 75 degrees and sunny. Go figure!

Below are some photos I took during the snowstorm, enjoy!

Much Love,
