Kim & Joe’s Wedding Blog has arrived! Yeay! This lovely couple was married on a private estate overlooking an amazingly beautiful pond.  Everything was just oh so perfect, except for the rain.  We kept crossing our fingers all day and hoped for perfect weather, but about half hour before the Ceremony, it started pouring cats & dogs!  The Ceremony was delayed by an hour, and when the rain finally stopped we went for it!

But then…as Kimberly was coming outside to meet her father, so he could walk her down the aisle, it started raining again!  But there was no turning back now.  All of the guests were seated and the groom was waiting, so everyone pulled out their umbrellas and just kept on smiling.  You would think that it wasn’t a fun Wedding, but that’s not true at all. We all ended up having such a great time!  You just have to have a great attitude, and everything will turn out well in the end.

The time has finally come to see Lisa & Gordon’s Wedding photos!  This beautiful couple were married at the  Payne-Corley House in Duluth, GA.

Lisa & Gordon had a lovely garden Ceremony in May.  It was super hot outside, but that didn’t stop any of us from having fun.  The Wedding was followed by a very fun Reception indoors.  I always love it when Brides & Grooms get out on the dance floor to shake what their mama gave them…and Lisa & Gordon did just that!

I had the honor of being present at Astrid & Greg’s Wedding this past weekend at the Wimbish Mansion in the heart of Atlanta, GA.

The rain wasn’t as bad as it was on Saturday, but it was still in the way.  We tried to take a lot of photos under covered rooftops.  Then after the Ceremony, we didn’t care and went right out into the rain and took lots of romantic shots.  The downtown location was so beautiful and we had to take advantage of it.

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Lisa & Gordon’s amazing Wedding yesterday at the Payne-Corley House in Duluth, GA.

When I first meet with potential clients, sometimes it could be an entire year until their actual Wedding.  I get to know the couple during this time, we have many meetings, photograph Engagement/Bridal Sessions and when it comes time for their Wedding day, I can’t help but be emotional.  The moment the Groom sees his Bride walk down the aisle for the first time and the sweet Father-Daughter dance always get me choked up!

This was the case with Lisa & Gordon.  We met last year and shot the Engagement Photos at Stone Mountain back in November.  I was so giddy when it was finally time for the Big Day! Lisa was an absolutely gorgeous bride with a handsome groom by her side. They had the sweetest garden ceremony with just their closest family & friends, followed by a super fun Reception.

Congratulations again to the Happy Couple and I hope they have a super duper time on their Romantic Getaway!

Kelly & Jonathan were married last month at the beautiful Big Canoe in Jasper, GA.

The ceremony was overlooking the lake and the view was just breathtaking! It was so windy that Kelly couldn’t keep her veil down! But anything was better than the light rain we were hit with an hour before the Ceremony.

Here are the pics you have been waiting for, Onilee & Zach!   Onilee and Zach’s  were married in a lovely garden Ceremony at The Grande at Kennesaw.

I had the pleasure of photographing the Wedding of Onilee’s father and step-mother back in October of last year and I was very excited to photograph Onilee and Zach’s as well.  They have 3 beautiful children and a 4th one on the way! She’s due anyday now and I know it must be super exciting for them!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day and week.  I was just thinking the other day how much I appreciate what our Military Men & Women do for this amazing country.  How can we repay them? Well, I thought of a great way!!! I’m offering a 10% Military Discount on all of my Photography Services. That’s right! That discount applies to Weddings, Engagement Sessions, Maternity, Family Portraits and Special Events, such as “Welcome home” parties and whatever else your heart desires.

So, if someone you know is in the military and is either getting married, having a baby or just wanting pictures of their family while they’re here in Atlanta for some R&R, give me a call.  I’d be happy to accommodate busy schedules.  I’m also happy to re-work my contract and offer more leniency  for families who are on active duty or might be relocating.  I know that must be so hard on the families and I really just want to put a smile on everyone’s faces
